논문내용 This study aimed to estimate the impact of new university students’experience in flipped learning on academic achievement, university and major satisfaction, and friendships, using the data of the Korean Education & Employment Panel II(KEEP II). And data were extracted by Propensity Score Matching(PSM) method. The findings are as follows. First, analysis showed that was different between the results of the analysis of the educational effects of flipped learning using the original data, and using the data extracted by Propensity Score Matching method. This confirmed that homogeneity between treatment groups and comparison groups was an important factor in estimating educational effects. Second, analysis showed that the college freshman's experience of participating in flipped learning had a positive impact on academic achievement, satisfaction with university and major, and friendships. Third, analysis showed that flipped learning has the greatest impact on friendship, followed by academic achievement and major satisfaction, and the least influence on university satisfaction. Based on these results, this study suggests that universities should actively introduce and expand flipped learning for improving the quality of education and enhancing the effectiveness of education in the future. And this research suggests developing the strategies to encourage students to pre-learn, methods to test students' understanding of pre-learning, organizational linkage ways between pre-learning and classroom classes.
