논문내용 |
Indonesia's digital economy is the largest in Southeast Asia, and due to this, Indonesian e-commerce companies are showing rapid growth. Foreign investors are investing in the Indonesian e-commerce market and supporting growth, looking at the huge potential of Indonesian e-commerce. This paper analyzes the current state of the e-commerce market in Indonesia and introduces domestic e-commerce companies. Tokopedia was Indonesia's first local startup to introduce its e-commerce system in 2009, and as a strong local influencer, it grew the fastest with the sustained support of the Indonesian government. GoJek has expanded its scope to the overall business of various O2O (onlinetoooffline) living services, and experts appreciate GoJek's growth potential with fast growth and transportation capabilities in the IT industry. With the merger of Tokopedia and GoJek, the GoTo group has successfully built a powerful data asset by combining a comprehensive RideHailing (RideHailing)-based On-Demand platform with vast data in the e-commerce space. This paper explains the competition between Indonesian e-commerce companies and foreign e-commerce companies, such as special promotions, live streaming, and the introduction of cash payment services and e-wallet. This paper analyzes the geographical factors that occur in Indonesia and the complex obstacles caused by government regulations, positively views the value of the Indonesian e-commerce market, presents measures to actively support the government and companies, and concludes the two obstacles. |
